Now Available in Caravel: Reports
Hold on to your hats because Feeds in Caravel just received some major improvements and made reporting on trends in conversations and feedback a whole lot easier 💪
With this update we're introducing a whole new Reports section to Saved Feeds. When a Feed is saved in Caravel, it will generate Reports that chart out Sentiment, Engagement, and Satisfaction (a new predictive metric 🔮✨) along with over time trends, and insights into every classification.
Net metrics
Let's start with Net Metrics. Net metrics measure the net value of sentiment, engagement, and satisfaction in your conversations:
Changes over time
Over time charts display the net change in average or accumulated values over the time of the selected date range. Depending on how big the date range is, the plotted values can be averaged over a single day, week, or month.
Average sentiment over time plots the change in average sentiment score over the date range, from -100 to 100. On dates where no conversations occur, the plotted sentiment value will remain unchanged. With this chart you can keep an eye on peaks and shifts in customer sentiment as it relates to the conversations and topics your tracking in your feed.
Conversations over time plots the total number of conversations in the feed per day, week, or month, over the selected date range. This is handy for seeing if there were suddens spikes or drops in conversation volume due to a release or actions you took.
Classifications
The Classifications section of your report provides a data table with insight into the average sentiment, sentiment score, total conversations, and satisfaction for every classifier in your feed. It also reports on the changes in sentiment, conversations, and satisfaction for each classifier from the prior date range.
